The Program foresees financing the deployment of passive infrastructures for the provision of mobile communications services that guarantee minimum speeds in areas of Spain where there is currently insufficient 4G mobile coverage.

The Program has already been approved by the European Commission. It contributes to the objective of deploying 5G technology in rural environments and transport corridors, by deploying new mobile sites or upgrading existing ones, to enable their use thanks to 5G technology.
