Disruptive innovation and digital entrepreneurship

The Disruptive Innovation and Digital Entrepreneurship measure consists of several programs that seek the integration of new technologies in all areas of a company, producing a breach in the development of its activities, promoting a radical renewal, in addition to favoring the development of cutting-edge projects.

  • Disruptive Innovation Program for the Digital Transformation of SMEs, endowed with 100 million euros in the period 2021-2023, aims to promote disruptive innovation in SMEs for the redesign of processes and the development of new products, services and business models based on the intensive use of data and the adoption of key technologies for digitization, such as cloud, big data, artificial intelligence, and blockchain, among others, for their application in the different productive sectors.
  • Support Program for Innovative Business Clusters, with an investment of 115 million euros in the period 2021-2023, plans to support innovation strategies and business competitiveness developed by Innovative Business Clusters. The Groupings are groups or "clusters" of companies, generally SMEs, which would find it difficult to undertake relevant projects in the field of digitization, which raise their productivity, if not through collaborative formulas.
  • The main purpose of the Digital Innovation Centers Support Program, endowed with 42 million euros for the period 2021-2023, is to support the development of Digital Innovation Centers (CID), which are conceived as "one-stop shops" through which SMEs can access the information, services, and facilities they need to successfully address their digital transformation processes.
