INCIBE EMPRENDE Program

The INCIBE EMPRENDE Program will develop ideation, incubation and acceleration initiatives for the creation of new start-ups in the cybersecurity sector. In addition, it will promote the consolidation and growth of existing start-ups in Spain, thanks to the implementation of collaborating agents that contribute to capitalize the actions throughout the country. Likewise, the program will have the INCIBE Acelera seal that will serve as a lever that will contribute to the growth of the participating companies.

Currently, within the framework of this program, a total of 57 projects have already been incubated, 35 start-ups have been accelerated and 25 projects have been identified as having great entrepreneurial potential. The challenge set by INCIBE is to accelerate a total of 1,000 companies and incubate a further 3,600 by 2025.

In addition, the program is divided into three main parts:

  • #INCIBEinspira: Conferences aimed at identifying entrepreneurial talent and promoting initiatives that respond to the challenges facing cybersecurity.
  • Ciberemprende: Competition for ideas and projects aimed at people with an entrepreneurial vocation. It seeks to attract and promote talent related to cybersecurity and the validation of the business model. Innovative ideas with the potential to become successful cybersecurity projects are awarded.
  • Cybersecurity Ventures: International Acceleration Program for newly created cybersecurity start-ups. The goal is to develop and mature business projects in cybersecurity through training, mentoring, and networking with investors and entrepreneurial talent.
