Digitalization also has great transformative potential for the provision of quality social services. The digital transformation of social services will range from the incorporation of new technologies at the service of care (mainly telecare) to the technological transformation of residential protection infrastructures, third sector social action entities or the management of social services. To take advantage of these opportunities, a Social Services Modernization Plan will be implemented, which includes the following initiatives:

• Implement comprehensive programs for the introduction of new technologies in the provision of social services in order to improve their efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement specific technological tools for the improvement of information systems and management of social services.
• Funding "pilot projects" that promote innovation in the framework of social services.

In addition, projects will be addressed jointly with the Autonomous Communities for the incorporation of advanced technologies to improve telecare.
