Digital Transformation of Public Employment Services

The digital transformation of Public Employment Services aims to improve the public services offered to citizens and companies in all areas related to employment by transforming them from a holistic viewpoint.

To this end, the following projects will be carried out:

  • Improving the information systems that support the unemployment benefit system and employment recovery policies.
  • Digitization of public employment services.
  • Statistics and data management to enable informed decision-making and the publication of information of high value to society.
  • Fight fraud by taking advantage of the benefits offered by artificial intelligence and data analysis systems.

Also included are initiatives for the modernization of the systems of benefits and intermediation and guidance for natural and legal persons. These include the modernization of the IT systems that serve the labor authorities, both in the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy and in the Autonomous Communities, as well as the improvement and development of the systems that will support the Plan for the Reform of Active Employment Policies.
